Product Development Pipeline

EquiTech’s product pipeline is based on the enhanced absorption technology platform developed by Dr. Jamali.

EquiTech’s initial products are focused on the pain relief market, due to Dr. Jamali’s groundbreaking discoveries regarding ibuprofen absorption. Products in EquiTech's development pipeline include:

		Clinical Trial Stage - a fast acting ibuprofen product that will be available over-the-counter.
		Late Stage Research - a fast acting COX-2 inhibitor product that will be a prescription analgesic. COX-2 inhibitors are used to treat pain and inflammation.
		Early Stage Research - an enhanced formulation of ibuprofen plus codeine, as a fast acting prescription analgesic product.

EquiTech’s enhanced absorption technology may also improve the therapeutic effectiveness for a wide variety of other pharmaceutical ingredients. Additional pipeline products are in the planning stages for various medical conditions:

		conditions requiring rapid relief; such as stroke, cardiac arrhythmias, epilepsy, inflammation / infection and nausea associated with chemotherapy or
		conditions in the elderly where reduced stomach motility and absorption are characteristic of the aging process, or
		conditions requiring targeted time release or biorhythm coupled release.
