EquiTech’s intellectual property is based on the breakthrough discovery that when a person needs relief during episodes of acute pain, less of the drug that they are taking to reduce the pain gets into their body.

Three U.S. and two international patent applications have been filed to protect EquiTech’s novel enhanced absorption formulations and the innovative research tools used to evaluate the new formulations. While the ingredients that EquiTech uses are already approved and available on the market, EquiTech’s novel enhanced products are patentable.
