Ethypharm Inc., a French pharmaceutical manufacturing company with global operations, is an equity partner in EquiTech. Ethypharm is one of the world's leading companies in the development of drug delivery systems, with capabilities from research through to manufacturing. Ethypharm has successfully launched 50 products in over 70 countries.

Ethypharm has a fully equipped cGMP development centre in Laval, Québec and has the capability to manufacture some of EquiTech’s proprietary enhanced absorption products through the development, scale-up and clinical trial phases. EquiTech’s collaboration with Ethypharm provides formulation development and manufacturing expertise, and gives important validation to EquiTech’s technology.

Dr. Fakhreddin Jamali, EquiTech’s Chief Scientific Officer, continues in his role as Professor and Associate Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Alberta. EquiTech continues to make use of the state-of-the-art laboratories at the University in order to optimize Dr. Jamali’s scientific contributions.
